Casa Tua, Miami Beach, will host an exhibition of works by Franco Fontana (b. 1933, Modena, Italy) spanning many of his series, from his natural and urban landscapes to the abstract Highways and Asphalt.

Fontana’s enduring connection with the United States has shaped some of his most celebrated urban landscapes. The sunlit palette of California, the geometric rhythm of New York’s grid, and the cities reflective surfaces informed striking compositions in which planes of depth are visually collapsed through Fontana’s lens. Objects near and far are brought into sudden proximity, merging into an abstract, mesmerising mosaics.
