Las Comparsas de Cuba is a series of portraits of the most famous carnival dancers of Cuba.

These intimate portraits were shot between 2015 and 2016 across Havana and Matanzas. Dancers were components of the the groups Los Componedores De Batea from Cientro Havana, Los Marqueses De Atares and El Alacran from the neighbourhood of Cerro in Havana, Centro Comunitario Sociocultural in Matanzas Grupo Rumba Jovenes Rumberos from Limonar, Grupo Arabba from Union del Rejes and the Projecto Socio Cultural Corsel de Esperanza from Matanzas.
